Carmelo Anthony has been subject to trade rumors since rejecting the 65 million contract extension with the Denver Nuggets, this past summer. Obviously many teams want Anthony on their rosters, but none have been able to make a strong enough pitch to Denver (besides possibly New Jersey). As the Carmelo saga continues it takes a new twist, initially the rumors suggested that the possible trade would be with the Lakers or Knicks. However, early this morning it has been reported that now, he says that he would be "open" to signing a three-year, $65 million contract extension with the Denver Nuggets, that he previously rejecting. Anthony told the Denver Post that if he's not traded by the deadline, that he may consider signing the extension with Denver I hope a decision is made soon so that they could put us out of our misery, but I feel this is going to go down to the deadline.....
PS. His fans in Denver already started booing him, he might as well get out of there!!!!!
